RETIREMENT NOTICE
Dr Richard Bonner Granite Belt Medical Services wishes to advise that Dr Richard Bonner will be retiring at the end of 2026.
After 40 years as a doctor, with the last 31 of these in Stanthorpe, Dr Bonner has full confidence in the current well established team at Granite Belt Medical to continue providing comprehensive medical care to his home town.
Patients can be reassured that their records will remain at the surgery and the practice will endeavour to enable a smooth transition of care to any doctor of their choosing. He would like to thank patients for entrusting him with their medical care. He also extends his gratitude to past and present staff and colleagues for their dedication, support and camaraderie over the years.

Bulk Billing
Available for children (through to end of high school), Pensioners, and Health Care Card holders for standard consultations. -
Mixed Billing
Applies to all other patients. A full fee schedule is available at reception. -
Payment Methods
We accept Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard, and EFTPOS. Payment is required at the time of consultation. -

Weekend & Emergency Care
For urgent medical attention from Friday evening through to Monday morning.
- Stanthorpe Hospital: From Friday night through to Monday morning, please present to the A&E department for urgent attention.
